Michael Bedggood has a diverse work experience in the financial services industry. Michael started their career at Mercer as a Helpline Consultant from May 2011 to July 2013. Michael then joined TelstraSuper, where they worked as a Member Contact Consultant, handling inbound customer service and complex inquiries. Michael was promoted to Office Services Manager/Team Leader Member Admin, leading a team and handling mailroom tasks, from March 2014 to November 2017.
Afterward, Michael joined VicSuper as a Superannuation Consultant from April 2018 to December 2018. Michael was later promoted to Senior Superannuation Consultant & Quality Coach, where they focused on enhancing member experience during calls and improving member feedback.
Currently, Michael is working at Aware Super as a Customer Service Team Lead, supporting and guiding a team of consultants in providing excellent member support. Additionally, they hold the role of Business Readiness Lead for the Member Support Team, participating in Project Catalyst to deliver digital transformation and workflow enhancement. Their responsibilities also include change management, project management, business analysis, and stakeholder management.
