Mauricio Alvez

Mauricio Alvez has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Mauricio currently holds the position of Head Chef at Awasi - Relais & Châteaux since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Sous Chef at the same company from January 2022 to July 2022. Before joining Awasi, Mauricio worked at Azafrán Restaurant as a Jefe de partida from December 2018 to January 2020. Mauricio also worked as a Chef at Restaurante La Vieja Escuela in 2018 and as the Chef Ejecutivo at Complejo La Aventura Posadas from July 2014 to January 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Chef at Ceferino Rodriguez Supermercados in 2013 and as an Ayudante de cocina at Complejo La Aventura from December 2010 to December 2012.

Mauricio Alvez completed their education in 2011, attending the Instituto superior de estudios terciarios. During this period, Mauricio pursued a degree in "técnico superior en arte culinario (chef)" and focused their studies on cocina y pastelería.
