Pete Phelan

Pete Phelan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the travel and photography industries. Currently serving as the Commercial Manager for Awaze's Specialist Brands Division since February 2023, Pete focuses on driving commercial and revenue opportunities while collaborating with senior leadership and local brand teams. From January 2019, Pete has operated as a wedding photographer, initially using photography for fundraising purposes. Prior experience includes roles as Revenue Manager and Sales Supervisor at James Villa Holidays, where Pete managed a significant portfolio and led a team of travel advisers. Additionally, Pete served as an Employability Tutor at Go Train Ltd, teaching crucial skills to adult learners, and held positions as a Retail Sales Consultant at Virgin Holidays and a Travel Consultant at TUI Group. Pete is also an Associate Pastor at Net Church in Sittingbourne, contributing in an unpaid capacity. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Education in Travel & Tourism from Canterbury College.
