Stefanie van Stokkom is a seasoned heritage professional with extensive experience in cultural management and heritage interpretation. Currently serving as the Heritage Development Manager at Awen Cultural Trust since September 2021, Stefanie focuses on researching, archiving, and sharing local history to enhance community engagement. Prior to this role, Stefanie worked as the Project Curator for the Llanthony Secunda Priory Trust, overseeing the 'Llanthropology' project aimed at promoting wellbeing in Gloucester. Stefanie's background also includes a significant tenure at the National Trust, where various managerial roles involved visitor experience, operations, and event management at historic properties. Additional experience with English Heritage as a visitor operations supervisor further underscores Stefanie's expertise in heritage management. Stefanie holds an MA in Medieval and Early Modern History from the University of Bristol and a BA in History from Radboud University.
