Juliana Papurello has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Juliana is currently working as a Growth & Partnership Specialist at AWorld since May 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded Legàmi Adottivi OdV in 2019, where they promote public debate and projects about adoption and cultural identity. In July 2022, they represented the Italian delegation with the Commission for Intercountry Adoption.
From 2019 to 2023, they worked as a Corporate Communication Officer at Gruppo SCAI, responsible for internal communication, marketing plan management, and external relations. Before that, they were a Marketing and Communication Manager at DOOH.IT SRL from 2015 to 2019. Their role involved corporate communication, event management, public relations, and cooperation with industry associations.
In 2015, they served as a public relations and digital communication intern for Mozambique at Expo2015. Juliana contributed to strategic communication and B2B relations management. Prior to that, they were a volunteer cooperant in service civil at FOCSIV - Federazione di Organismi di Volontariato Internazionale in 2014.
In 2013, they gained further experience as a communication intern for non-profit and development cooperation at Ong2.0. Juliana also briefly worked as a group leader at Cooperativa Sociale ET and as an intern at Comune di Torino. Additionally, they served as a European Volunteer EVS at Braga 2012 European Youth Capital from 2012 to 2013.
Juliana Papurello has a diverse educational background. In 2020-2021, they attended Job Farm and obtained a Master's degree in Corporate Social Responsibility. Previously, from 2010 to 2012, they studied at Università degli Studi di Torino, where they earned a Master's Degree in Development, Environment and Cooperation Studies with a focus on Development Economics and International Development. In 2011, they participated in the Erasmus program at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, specializing in Peace Studies at the Centre for Peace Studies. Prior to their master's degree, Juliana completed their Bachelor's degree from Università degli Studi di Torino in 2006-2009, majoring in Sviluppo e Cooperazione at the Faculty of Political Science. Juliana completed their secondary education at Liceo Scientifico Statale "C. Darwin" in Rivoli (TO), where they obtained their Maturità Scientifica in 2001-2006. Additionally, Juliana holds a certification in Portuguese proficiency, CELPE BRAS, obtained in May 2015 from the Ministério da Educação - Brasil.
