Bong Choi

Bong Choi, FIA, has extensive experience in the financial and risk management industry. Bong is currently serving as the Life, Health and Financial Risk Director at AXA Hong Kong and Macau since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Financial Risk Management at AXA, starting in January 2020 until October 2022. Before joining AXA, Bong Choi worked as the Head of Financial Risk Management at Prudential Hong Kong from November 2018 to December 2019. Bong also served as an Audit Manager at Prudential Corporation Asia from April 2017 to October 2018. Starting their career at Prudential plc in July 2010, Bong Choi worked as the Group Risk Actuary from July 2015 to April 2017 and as the Financial Risk Actuary from August 2010 to June 2015. Prior to joining Prudential, they worked as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Legal & General from July 2005 to August 2010 and as an Actuarial Analyst at ZURICH FINANCIAL SERVICES (UKISA) LIMITED from September 2003 to June 2005.

Bong Choi, FIA, holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Actuarial Science from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In addition, Bong has obtained certifications in Data Visualization: Storytelling, Humble Leadership: The Power of Relationships, Openness, and Trust (getAbstract Summary), and Communicating with Confidence from LinkedIn. Bong is also a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
