Frank Mahlberg has extensive work experience in the media industry. Frank started their career as the Geschäftsführer at Axel Springer SE in 2008, where they served as the Geschäftsführer of HAMBURGER ABENDBLATT until 2014. Following this, they joined Funke Mediengruppe GmbH & Co. KGaA as the Geschäftsführer of HAMBURGER ABENDBLATT and BERLINER MORGENPOST from 2014 to 2016. Afterwards, they returned to Axel Springer SE and took on various roles, including Managing Director of BILD und BZ from 2016 to 2017. Frank then became the Geschäftsführer of AUTO BILD und COMPUTER BILD from 2017 until their current position in 2024, where they serve as the Managing Director of the CEO Office.

Frank Mahlberg obtained a Diplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Ruhr University Bochum.
