Mischa Sander

Mischa Sander has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Currently, Mischa serves as the Senior Vice President (SVP) Strategy & Operations for Idelo and ESG at Axel Springer. In this role, they lead the Portfolio and Investment Management for Idelo while also coordinating the ESG strategy for the Axel Springer ESG Board. Prior to this, Mischa held senior leadership positions such as SVP Strategy and Transformation - News Media Europe & Marketing Media at Axel Springer and SVP Strategy Classifieds Media, where they oversaw strategic development and investment management. Before joining Axel Springer, Mischa worked as the Director of Strategy at SPRING Axel Springer Digital News Media GmbH & Co. KG and held roles as a Mentor for Startups at StartupMexico and a Consultant and Business Coach for Digital Transformation at Digital Transformation and Strategy Consulting. They also gained valuable experience as the Director of Strategy BILD Group at Axel Springer SE and Head of Strategy & Business Development BILD Digital at BILD. Prior to their roles in the media industry, Mischa worked as a Senior Consultant at OC&C Strategy Consultants and held sales-focused roles at Fujitsu Siemens Computers GmbH and Siemens.

Mischa Sander completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Dipl. rer. com. degree (equivalent to BA and MA) in Communication Science from the University of Hohenheim from 1999 to 2005. In 2002, Mischa also earned a Master of Management (MMgt) degree from Massey University. They further pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Administration from Massey University from 2001 to 2002. Additionally, Mischa obtained a Vocational Training (IHK) in Business Administration/Industrial Clerk from Siemens Professional Education from 1997 to 1999. They also hold certifications in Conversari Leadership Workshop from Conversari Global in 2020 and SIELE Spanish Language Certificate (C1) from SIELE in 2019.
