Brecht Machiels

Brecht Machiels is a Mixed-Signal IC Design/Software Engineer at Axelera AI since October 2021. Previously, Brecht worked as an Owner at Opqode, handling various consultancy projects. With experience in software engineering and research, Brecht has worked on projects related to documentation tooling, SRAM compiler design, C++ development, machine learning, data analysis, and open-source document processing. Brecht's background includes a Ph.D. as a Research Assistant at KU Leuven and internships in RFID tag design. Education-wise, Brecht holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Micro-electronics from KU Leuven and a Master of Science in Industrial Sciences in Electronics from Groep T.
