Giorgio Beniamino has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software and firmware engineering. Giorgio started their career at Altran Italia S.p.A as a Software Engineer in 2005. Giorgio then worked at Leonardo as a Software Embedded Engineer from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they served as a Sales Engineer at Eurel SpA from 2010 to 2011. In the same year, they worked as a Firmware Engineer at InfoSolution S.p.A. Giorgio joined EUTRON SpA as a Software Embedded Engineer in 2011 and stayed until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at ABB as a Software Embedded Engineer. Giorgio then joined Intel Corporation as a Firmware Engineer in 2016 for a year. In 2017, they worked as a Chip Specialist at Sun Chemical. Giorgio transitioned to onsemi, where they first served as a Staff Firmware Engineer from 2018 to 2022 and then became a Principal Firmware Engineer from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are employed at Axelera AI as a Senior Software Engineer starting from 2023.

Giorgio Beniamino attended the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where they obtained a Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica, specializing in Ingegneria elettrica ed elettronica. Giorgio completed their degree in 2004.

In 2012, they earned a certification in 6.002x: Circuits and Electronics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Giorgio also has certifications in DSP application with Matlab and Matlab Fundamentals from The MathWorks, earned in 2009. Additionally, in 2008, they obtained a Level A1 Chinese certification from Istituto Confucio.
