Johannes Thiele

Johannes Thiele is a Senior Engineer at Axelera AI, responsible for developing and owning the automatic DNN quantization tool. Previously, Johannes worked at CEA as a Research Engineer, co-developing the N2D2 framework for Deep Learning algorithms in embedded systems. Johannes also initiated a startup project within the CEA Magellan Startup Initiative and has a strong background in research and publications related to dynamic precision deep learning and algorithm design for neuromorphic systems. With extensive experience in computer science, signal processing, and physics, Johannes has been involved in various research projects and holds a PhD in Computer Science and Signal Processing.
