Ellen Laurie has a diverse range of work experience. Ellen is currently working as a Research Coordinator at Axem Neurotechnology since June 2022. Prior to this, they were a Project Manager at CellCarta from January 2022 to April 2022.

Before these positions, Ellen held various roles at Biospective Inc. from 2018 to 2021. Ellen started as a Clinical Research Assistant in August 2018 and later became a Project Leader, responsible for project management and contributing to the development of department/company knowledge bases, technology, and processes. Ellen then took on the role of Clinical QA Lead, conducting quality reviews of study master files and contributing to the development of cross-departmental quality assurance processes.

In 2015, Ellen worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Windsor, where they reinforced concepts taught in undergraduate courses in a laboratory setting.

Prior to that, they had positions as a Concierge at Amica Mature Lifestyles Inc from 2014 to 2018, ensuring the wellbeing of senior residents, and as a Rehabilitation Technician at Elevation Health (Chiropractic) from 2014 to 2015, where they utilized chiropractic biophysics methods and assisted with patient assessments.

Ellen's earliest experience was as a Research Assistant at the University of Windsor from 2010 to 2014, where they assisted with graduate research, specifically in mouse husbandry and colony maintenance under the supervision of Dr. Lisa Porter.

Ellen Laurie obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biological Sciences (Oncology) from the University of Windsor. Ellen completed their master's degree from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biological Sciences with Thesis from the same university, from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Ellen has attained two additional certifications. In October 2020, they completed the Security Awareness Training from Wizer - Free Security Awareness Training. Furthermore, in August 2021, they completed the Good Clinical Practice certification from The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
