Zina Affas Besse

Zina Affas Besse serves as the Deputy Head of Global Health Private Equity and AXA IM Prime Impact Fund Advisor at AXA Investment Managers since April 2020, focusing on healthcare investments that enhance health and deliver financial returns. Zina is actively involved as a Board Member for Axena Health, Biolinq, and Eyenuk, Inc. Additionally, Zina holds the position of Managing Partner at Global Health Funds, which invests in innovative healthcare companies. As the Founding Director of Affas Besse Advisors since July 2011, Zina has extensive experience, including serving as a Senior Advisor at Global Health Investment Corporation and a Board Member at Alydia Health. Previous roles include Chief Business Officer at Novintum Bioscience Ltd, where Zina contributed to the development of cancer treatments. Zina's academic foundation includes a PhD in Pharmacy & Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Nottingham.
