Duc Nguyen Hong

Duc Nguyen Hong is a seasoned Technology Development Manager at Axens since January 2008, specializing in conversion and circular economy, particularly in residue upgrading to fuels and chemicals. With extensive experience in residue hydrocracking, visbreaking, and solvent deasphalting, Duc has led R&D activities and process design for various refining technologies. Previous roles include a Process Engineer at Axens, focusing on residue hydrocrackers, and a Flow Assurance & Subsea Process Engineer at Saipem, where innovative solutions for offshore field development were developed. Duc holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Refining Engineering from IFP School, a Ph.D. in Flow Assurance from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, an MBA from IAE FRANCE, and an Engineer's degree in Oil and Gas Processing from Ecole Polytechnique de Danang.
