Charisse McChristie Brown

Charisse McChristie Brown has a varied work experience. Charisse began their career in 2004 as a Saturday Morning Manager Assistant at Shongweni Farmers Market. In 2005, they became the Owner of Calderwood Hall Hotel, where they organized Weddings, Whisky Tastings, Brandy Tastings, Wine Tastings, and Team Building weekends. In 2008, they took on the role of Senior Event Manager & Coordinator at Firgrove, where they handled and converted weddings and events enquiries and managed key project elements. In 2011, they became a Teacher at Michael Mount Waldorf School. In 2014, they joined Xstrema Software Services as a Global Project Manager/ HR, where they assisted in the delivery of the full range of project management services throughout the project lifecycle. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Global Scrum Master at AXES.ai.

Charisse McChristie Brown has a diverse educational background. Charisse attended Durban College, Durban University of Technology, Florida Park High, and the University of KwaZulu-Natal. At the University of KwaZulu-Natal, they obtained a degree in Marketing and Public Relations.
