Margaret Nelson-Lowe

Margaret Nelson-Lowe has a long and varied work experience. Margaret began their career in 2013 as a Psychologist at MAX Solutions Pty Ltd. Margaret then worked as a Senior Clinician and Clinical Psychologist and Mental Health Clinician and Psychologist at headspace from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they were also a Registered Clinical Psychologist (Australia; Non-Practicing) at Family Leave. In 2015, they were an Honorary Fellow at Murdoch Childrens Research Institute and a Research Manager at La Trobe University. In 2017, they were an Associate Research Consultant at Mapi Group and a Research Project Manager at Massachusetts General Hospital. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Clinical Project Manager at Sobi - North America and a Senior Clinical Trial Manager and Clinical Trial Manager at Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. Most recently, they have been an Associate Director, Clinical Operations at Axial Therapeutics, Inc. since 2022.

Margaret Nelson-Lowe has a rich educational history. Margaret obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Melbourne in 2012, after completing their Master's degree (MPsych) in the same field between 2009 and 2012. Margaret also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Melbourne between 2004 and 2008. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Foundations of Decentralized Clinical Trials from Medable, Inc in 2021, Clinical Psychologist (Non-Practicing) from AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) in 2009, Member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals from ACRP - Association of Clinical Research Professionals in 2019, and Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association from the Australian Clinical Psychology Association in 2017.
