Peter Briere

Peter Briere has a wealth of experience in the geospatial industry. Peter has held various roles since 1998, starting as a GIS Specialist for the Environmental Careers Organization (ECO). Peter then moved on to Hydrosource Associates as a Geologist in 2000, and then to DynCorp International as a Principal Systems Analyst in 2001. In 2003, they began working for Northrop Grumman Information Systems, where they held the roles of Civil Works Department Manager and Senior Program Manager and Site Manager. In 2011, they were appointed General Manager of Premier Geospatial, Inc. Peter then moved to Quantum Spatial as Senior Program Manager in 2014. Since 2016, they have been with Continental Mapping Consultants, where they held roles as SVP Operations, COO, and GM - Civil Works Sector. Peter currently works for Axim Geospatial as SVP Strategic Innovations & Solutions.

Peter Briere has an educational background that includes a MS in Geosciences from Texas A&M University, a BS in Geology from the University of South Florida, and a high school diploma from FWBHS. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Land Surveyor Photogrammetrist from the Commonwealth of Virginia (obtained in March 2010), a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (obtained in August 2005), and a Certified Photogrammetrist (CP) from the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (obtained in May 2006).
