Shyam Kundapurkar

Shyam Kundapurkar has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Shyam is currently working as Head, Decision Sciences at Axio Finance since September 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Walnut App from 2015, where they specialized in decision science and machine learning on Google Cloud Platform and AWS. Shyam has also worked as a visiting faculty at Scientific Computing, Modeling & Simulation and Department of Electronic Sciences. Shyam served as a consultant for algorithms, mathematical modeling, and combinatorial optimization in supply chain management at ICERTIS from 2013 to 2015. Shyam has also held positions at Centre for Modeling and Simulation, University of Pune, PRAGNA Systems, IBM, Codito Technologies Pvt Ltd, and Morelinux.

Shyam Kundapurkar's education history includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Technology from the National Centre for Software Technology in Juhu, Mumbai, completed in 1994-1995. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate in Multivariate mathematical and heuristic optimization, Global optimization at the Department of Statistics in the University of Pune from 1993-1994. Shyam also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Applied Statistics from the Department of Statistics at the University of Pune, which was completed from 1990-1993. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with honors in Mathematics and Statistics from Fergusson College, University of Pune, from 1985-1990.
