Michael DeBlois has extensive work experience in various pricing and business management roles. Michael is currently the Head of Pricing at Axiom, where they launched a pricing journey assessment maturity model and established a 3-year plan for the pricing function. Prior to this, they worked at Acuity Brands as the Vice President of Pricing Operations, leading teams to successfully implement major price increases, resulting in increased margins and a rise in stock price. Michael also implemented price increases at Danaher-Gilbarco Veeder Root and Danaher-Gilbarco-Veeder Root, where they held roles such as Director of Business Process Management & Improvement and Director of Marketing: Pricing and Customer Programs. Before that, they were the Senior Manager of Pricing Strategy & Analysis Team at KCI Medical, responsible for establishing the global pricing function and implementing pricing analysis and field discipline. Michael also worked at Parker Hannifin as the Strategic Pricing Manager and at The Weather Channel as the Pricing and Inventory Manager, Business Development Manager, and Strategic Business Analyst. Michael started their career as a Strategic Marketing Intern at Schenectady International (SI Group) and Lydall.
Michael DeBlois earned an MBA in Marketing from the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1998 to 2000. Michael also obtained a degree in History from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts from 1997 to 1999. In addition to their degrees, Michael holds certifications as a Black Belt in Lean Transactional Process Improvement and as a Certified Problem Solver- Danaher Business Systems (DBS) from the institution Danaher Business Systems.
