Brandon Shedd is an accomplished engineering professional specializing in aerospace applications with extensive experience in mechanical design and systems management. Currently serving as the AxPLSS Oxygen Loop Manager at Axiom Space, Brandon leads the engineering efforts for the oxygen loop within the AxEMU, an Artemis Lunar space suit. In a previous role as Crew Systems Technical Lead, Brandon focused on the crew systems for Axiom Station. Prior experience includes a role as Development Engineer III at Oceaneering, contributing to space flight hardware development, and as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Mechanical Testing Services, where Brandon provided innovative design solutions and led a team managing mechanical testing for oilfield equipment. An internship at NASA exposed Brandon to structural engineering projects, enhancing expertise in advanced manufacturing and EVA tool design. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Mississippi State University.
