Tammy Radford

Tammy Radford is a highly experienced aerospace professional currently serving as the Portable Life Support System Director at Axiom Space since October 2021. Prior experience includes a decade at Oceaneering Space Systems, where Tammy held the roles of xPLSS Component Manager and Project Manager for JETS, Fan Component Owner, and Senior Mechanical Engineer on DARPA's Satellite Tool Changer, and Senior Space Suit Engineer for the Constellation Space Suit System. Tammy's extensive background spans structural analysis, design, and management for various space systems at Boeing, where responsibilities included leading teams, coordinating complex projects, and ensuring compliance with technical and budgetary standards. Tammy holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
