Joshua Finkel

Joshua Finkel is a Senior Industrial Designer at AxioMed, LLC, since June 2014, specializing in the development of spinal implants, instruments, and surgical techniques within the highly regulated medical field. Finkel also served as an Adjunct Professor at Massachusetts College of Art and Design from September 2018 to September 2021 and held a similar Senior Industrial Designer role at SpineFrontier from June 2014 to August 2020. Earlier experience includes working as a Model Shop Monitor at MassArt, where responsibilities involved creating a materials library and implementing manufacturing best practices, as well as creating ice sculpture designs and executing production as a CNC Designer and Sculptor at Brookline Ice. Finkel started the professional journey as an Industrial Design Intern at Leaf Holdings, focusing on brand studies and structural packaging. Finkel holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, earned in 2014.
