Daniel Millard

Vice President, R&d - Bioelectronics at Axion BioSystems

Daniel Millard began their career in 2006 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they investigated the material properties of fibrin. Daniel's work was published in the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and was presented at the Biophysical Society Annual Meeting. In 2008, they became a Graduate Student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2014, they joined Axion BioSystems as an Applications Director, where they identified, developed, and implemented advanced applications for the Maestro multiwell microelectrode array platform. Daniel was later promoted to Manager, Applications Development.

Daniel Millard obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008. Daniel then went on to pursue a PhD Candidate in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2013.
