Jose de Souza Villa

Jose de Souza Villa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the biotechnology and health sectors. Currently serving as CEO of both Silvestre Labs and Cryopraxis®, and as Presidente do Conselho de Administração at Axis Biotec Brasil, Jose also holds the position of Diretor de Compliance, overseeing compliance efforts across multiple companies. With prior roles including COO at InnVernia and various technical consultant positions, Jose has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. Educational qualifications include an MBA from COPPEAD UFRJ, an MBA in Health Services Management from Universidade Federal Fluminense, a degree in Industrial Pharmacy from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and advanced military education from Universidade da Força Aérea (UNIFA).
