Ann K Thompson

Ann K Thompson has extensive experience in health economics, reimbursement, and policy in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Ann K is currently working as the Vice President of Global Health Economics, Reimbursement, and Policy at Axogen since June 2018. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles in companies like Edwards Lifesciences, Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies, Johnson & Johnson, and Hoechst Marion Roussel. In these positions, they played a pivotal role in developing and implementing health economics research strategies, influencing payment and coverage policies, securing market access, and optimizing reimbursement for various medical technologies and pharmaceutical products.

Ann K Thompson completed their Bachelor's of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Critical Care from The University of Kansas, from 1977 to 1981. Ann K then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Finance and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, from 1982 to 1984.
