Anne Spieles-Engemann has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Anne began their career as an Intraoperative Monitoring Clinician at Biotronic NeuroNetwork in 2002 and later worked as an Audiologist at HearUSA from 2003 to 2005. Anne then pursued their PHD at the University of Cincinnati, where they served as a PHD Candidate from 2005 to 2010. Following that, they held a position as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Karolinska Institutet from 2011 to 2012. Anne then joined the University of Florida as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from 2012 to 2014. Anne'sprofessional journey continued at Axogen, where they worked as a Product Development and Research Consultant from 2014 to 2016. Anne then transitioned to the role of Clinical and Translational Scientist at Axogen from 2016 to 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Medical Affairs Manager at Axogen. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Medical Affairs Scientific Communications at Axogen, starting in December 2020.
Anne Spieles-Engemann obtained their Bachelor's degree in Audiology/Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist, as well as Spanish, from Western Michigan University between 1995 and 1998. Anne then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Audiology/Audiologist from Western Michigan University, completing it from 1999 to 2001. Later, from 2005 to 2010, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati.
