Kiri Hamaker

Kiri Hamaker is a highly skilled Senior Research and Development Engineer at Axogen, with a robust history in product development and engineering roles since May 2017. Previous positions include Project Coordinator and Engineer roles at Axogen, where Kiri managed over ten active projects within the Product Development Core team. Kiri's background includes significant contributions to the Biomaterial Immuno-Engineering Laboratory at the University of Florida, leading the development of microarray technology for Type-1 Diabetes detection and creating advanced drug delivery methods. Kiri also served as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Researcher at the University of Florida, and gained research experience with the Interdisciplinary Microsystems Group and other esteemed institutions. Academic credentials include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida and Purdue University, complemented by additional education in Bio IT from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
