Joonas Puskala

Joonas Puskala is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in electrical engineering and hardware integration, currently serving as Principal Engineer at Axon since February 2018, leading device and camera module projects across architecture, specifications, design, testing, certifications, and prototype production. Prior to this role, Joonas was a Principal Engineer at Nokia Technologies, focusing on camera hardware integration for OZO 360 VR camera projects, and worked at Microsoft as Lead Engineer responsible for the imaging area in Lumia device family. Joonas’s career began at Nokia, where responsibilities included imaging area integration and debugging as well as technical hardware support. Joonas holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tampere University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information and Communications Technology from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, along with a Technician degree in Information Technology.
