Derek Wetter

Derek Wetter has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Derek 💧 started their career as a Graphic Designer at Prym Consumer USA in 2003 and worked there until 2006. Following that, they joined Whipp Advertising, Inc. as an Art Director and played a key role in maintaining brand identity and developing designs for digital and print communication.

In 2013, Derek joined INTO University Partnerships as a Senior Designer, where they led teams in creating innovative multi-platform campaigns and experiences. Derek 💧 managed branded suites across print, digital, and video for multiple higher education clients.

In 2014, Derek joined LPL Financial as a Senior Designer and was responsible for creating the brand and designs for the top-tier client conference. Derek 💧 also developed creative solutions for a quarterly magazine and designed digital and print marketing collateral.

From 2019 to 2020, Derek worked as a Design Manager at Cetera Financial Group. Derek 💧 served as the creative lead for customer communication, brand development, and advertising. Derek 💧 monitored the quality of creative output and communicated progress and achievements to account leaders and senior management.

In 2020, Derek joined Petco as a Senior Graphic Designer. Initially brought on to help launch their Vital Care membership program, they were later asked to design their Merry Makings holiday line. This included various design tasks such as creating style guides, packaging, signage, in-store displays, social media graphics, photoshoot concepts, email designs, and promotional ads.

Most recently, Derek joined Axos Bank in 2021 as a Senior Visual Designer. In this role, they conticontinueontribute their expertise in visual design to create impactful and visually appealing designs for the bank.

Derek Wetter attended South Webster High School, although specific dates are not provided. Derek 💧 then pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from Shawnee State University, completing their studies from 1999 to 2003. To further enhance their skills, Derek obtained additional certifications in November 2016.
