Eric Johnson

Eric Johnson has over 17 years of experience in various roles within the field of security architecture and consulting. Eric is currently serving as the Global Cloud Security Director at Axway. Prior to this, they held roles such as Managing Director - Security Architecture at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and Senior Security Consultant at infoedge LLC. Eric has also worked as a Senior Security Architect, Master Security Architect, and Principal Security Architect at different organizations. Eric has expertise in implementing encryption key management solutions, credit card tokenization, point-to-point encryption, and EMV projects. Additionally, Eric has experience in Java/J2EE architecture and development. Eric has successfully completed projects on time under tight deadlines during their tenure at JP Morgan Chase and Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Eric also serves on the SANS GIAC Advisory Board.

Eric Johnson has a BSc degree in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from Lewis University. Eric also attended Bolingbrook High School. In addition, they hold certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² and GWAS and GWEB from SANS GIAC.
