Willem Van de Mierop

Willem Van de Mierop is a founder at AYES, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to that, they were an AI Engineer at Robovision from 2020. Before that, they were an Engineer Intern at XenomatiX - True solid-state LiDAR from 2018.

Willem Van de Mierop obtained their Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven in 2018. Willem then attended a one-year exchange program at Stevens Institute of Technology in 2017, studying Electromechanical Engineering. In 2019, they went on to pursue a Master of Science in Engineering at KU Leuven, focusing on Intelligent Mobility. Currently, they are enrolled in a Master of Science program at City, University of London, specializing in Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Udemy and Coursera in 2020 and 2019 respectively, and an Initiator kitesurf certification from Vlaamse Trainersschool in 2014.
