Juliana Rochon

Director, Power Marketing at Aypa Power

Juliana Rochon has a diverse background in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Juliana began their career as a Market Development Analyst at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), where they assisted in market design and implementation tasks. As a member of the project team, Juliana contributed to the design and implementation of Ontario's first Demand Response Auction.

Juliana then joined London Economics International LLC as a Consultant, where they provided economic, strategic, and financial advice to the energy and infrastructure industries. Juliana led the design, development, permitting, interconnection, and project management for a utility-scale solar PV project in Vermont, USA.

After their time at London Economics International LLC, Juliana worked at Charles River Associates as an Associate and later as a Consulting Associate. In these roles, they provided economic, strategic, and commercial advisory services to clients in the US and Canadian energy and infrastructure sectors. Juliana led and supported business development efforts to grow the Canadian client-base and specialized in regulatory and corporate growth strategies, power sector evolution, and power market fundamentals.

Currently, Juliana is with Aypa Power, where they have held various roles since 2019. Juliana'smost recent position is Director of Power Marketing, where they oversee the marketing strategies for the company. Prior to this, they served as Senior Manager and Manager of Power Marketing, as well as Manager of Operations & Strategy.

Juliana Rochon attended Western University from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they pursued a degree in Management and Organizational Studies with a specialization in Finance and Business Administration.
