Integration Engineer at AYRO Inc.

Frank Ajieh has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Frank started their most recent position in 2022 as an Integration Engineer at AYRO Inc., where they focus on designing and developing control systems for Low-Speed Electric Vehicles (LSVs) and managing software implementation and programming. Prior to this, Frank worked as a Powertrain Performance and Calibration Engineer at Aditi consulting c/o John Deere from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they carried out calibration and evaluation of an Exhaust Gas Recirculation System (EGR) cooler and conducted comprehensive emissions testing. Frank also developed automation scripts in MATLAB to streamline calibration evaluation processes.

Before that, Frank worked at Toyota North America as a Mechanical Engineer from 2019 to 2021. Frank conducted evaluations and developed MATLAB tools for modeling and simulation of Electrified Powertrain and Lithium-ion battery systems. In addition, Frank was involved in charging tests and analysis for battery-powered electric vehicles. Prior to working at Toyota, Frank worked briefly as a Test Engineer at Delta T, Inc. in 2019.

Earlier in their career, Frank held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at Tennessee State University from 2017 to 2018. Their responsibilities included modeling lithium-ion batteries and developing Battery Management Systems (BMS) for real-time monitoring and prediction of battery health. Frank also worked as a Data Analyst at Mitech Partners, LLC for a short period in 2017. Lastly, they gained research experience as a Research Intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 2017.

Frank Ajieh completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Coventry University from 2013 to 2015. Frank then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee State University from 2017 to 2018.
