Shanti Martin Brown

Shanti Martin Brown has extensive experience in legal advocacy, particularly in immigration law, with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Supervising Attorney at Ayuda since November 2014, Shanti has held various positions within the organization, including Senior Staff Attorney and Staff Attorney. Prior experience includes a role as a Staff Attorney at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) from October 2012 to November 2014 and as a KIND Fellow/Staff Attorney at Ayuda from May 2010 to October 2012. Shanti began legal practice as a Legal Fellow at the UC Davis Law School Immigration Clinic in 2009. Shanti holds a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Justice, Peace, and Conflict Studies and Spanish from Eastern Mennonite University.
