Nana Yaw Owusu Banahene

Nana Yaw Owusu Banahene has over 10 years of experience in various roles in the finance and consulting industries. Currently, they are working as the Country Director for AZA Finance, overseeing operations in Ghana and other African markets. Prior to this, they served as the Country Manager for the same company. Before joining AZA Finance, Nana founded and chaired African Intellectual Consult (AIC) in 2009. Nana Yaw also worked as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Business Development at Akaditi Limited, a role they held from 2018 to 2021. Nana has a background in strategy consulting, having worked as a Strategy Consultant for EmmetPAY Digital Financial in 2017. Nana Yaw also served as the Product Manager at Zeepay Ghana Limited, where they drove the company's digital solutions and mobile financial services from 2016 to 2017. Early in their career, Nana worked at UT BANK GHANA as a Transaction Banker and later as an Officer in Strategy and Business Development.

Nana Yaw Owusu Banahene pursued their education in a chronological manner. Nana Yaw started by attending the Chartered Institute of Bankers Ghana from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained an ACIB degree in Banking. Simultaneously, they also studied at the University of Ghana during the same period and earned an MBA degree in Marketing. Prior to this, from 2008 to 2012, they attended the University of Cape Coast and completed a Degree in Business Management.
