Samia Shurnell Andersson

Samia Andersson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources management and leadership development within the hospitality and cruise industries. Currently serving as the Shipboard Human Resources Manager at Azamara since May 2022, Samia oversees crew welfare and collaborates with shore-based partners to address operational needs. Prior roles include Shipboard Human Resources Learning and Development Manager at Celebrity Cruises, Founder and Senior Consultant at Courage to Change, and various HR positions across multiple organizations focused on employee engagement, talent management, and training development. Samia holds a MicroMasters in International Hospitality Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master of Arts in Leading Innovation and Change from York St. John University.
