Anna Bjelkemyr

Anna Bjelkemyr has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Anna started their career as a Development Engineer at Autoliv, where they worked on airbag applications projects. Anna then became a Project Manager, responsible for delivering high-quality safety products and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Later, they became a Senior Project Manager, specializing in airbags for Swedish and European car manufacturers.

In 2015, Anna joined Swedish Modules as the Manager of the Project Management Office. In this role, they built the project management organization and processes, reporting directly to the CEO.

Currently, Anna is working at Azelio, an exciting start-up company that develops a long-duration Energy Storage System. Anna started as a Senior Project Manager, leading a sub-project in the main program. Anna then became the Senior Program Manager, overseeing the development and launch preparations of Azelio's first go-to-market product. Presently, they hold the position of Head of System Operation, leading the development of the TES POD, which supports the worldwide goal of increasing the use of Renewable Energy and reducing the CO2 footprint.

Anna Bjelkemyr has a strong educational background in material science. Anna began their academic journey in 1993 at Luleå University of Technology, where they obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Material Science in 1996. Anna then pursued further education specializing in material science, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from Ecole Européenne d'Ingénieurs en Génie des Matériaux in 1998. Anna continued their studies at the same institution and obtained another Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Material Science in 1999. In 2006, Anna attended Chalmers University of Technology, where they received a Licentiate degree in Applied Mechanics, completing their formal education in 2011.
