Sakina Asker is currently working as the Gastronomy and wine tourism development department director at Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB). Sakina is also the Head of Gastronomic Tourism Management and Industry associations manager at ATB. Additionally, Sakina is a Co-Founder of Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association (ATGA) and serves as the Country Representative in Silk Way Task Force Group at the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Prior to these roles, Sakina held positions at Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University and The Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Sakina holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Baku State University and is licensed as an international trainer by the World Federation of Tourist Guides Associations.
