Wontaek Shin

Wontaek Shin is the Chief Technology Officer at Azibo. Wontaek was previously the VP of Engineering at Figure from July 2019 to November 2021. Prior to that, they were the Sr. Director, Software Engineering at SoFi from April 2016 to June 2019. Wontaek also served as an advisor and investor at RB26 | California from December 2015 to February 2019. From August 2013 to March 2016, they were the Director, Marketing Tech at Auction.com. Wontaek started their career as a software architect at Roosevelt Management Company from April 2011 to July 2013.

Wontaek Shin graduated from Horace Mann School in Riverdale, New York. Wontaek then went on to study Electrical & Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree. Finally, they pursued a career in Computer Science at Columbia University.

They are on a team with Don Johnson - General Manager, Mortgage, Gray Kuglen - Head, Research & Design, and Vickie Xia - Senior Director, Strategy Operations & Partnerships. Wontaek Shin reports to Vikas Gupta, CEO.
