Bala Nishaanth

Bala Nishaanth is currently a Student Assistant at Azim Premji University, contributing to library resource management through metadata extraction and archival tasks while supporting library operations. As a Peer Tutor, Bala provides personalized tutoring assistance to fellow Economics students, promoting academic success. Previously, as a Data Research Analyst at Hasiru Dala, Bala developed a comprehensive data warehouse and created interactive visualizations to analyze and communicate challenges faced by waste pickers. Additionally, as a Public Relations Intern for the International Model United Nations, Bala effectively marketed the organization and engaged new participants in MUN initiatives. Bala is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Azim Premji University, having begun studies in August 2022.
