Anna D.

Anna D. has a diverse work experience in the space industry. Anna started their career as an intern at the Institute of Space Systems in 2012. Later, they joined Active Space Technologies GmbH as a Systems Engineer for four years, from December 2012 to August 2016. Anna then moved to Azimut Space GmbH, where they first worked as a Space Systems Engineer at Sonaca Space GmbH from August 2016 to May 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Verification & Validation at Azimut Space GmbH since May 2018, where they are responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of their space technologies.

Anna D. completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Space Science from the International Space University from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Civilingenjör (Engineering Mechanics) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009. In 2006, Anna attended Umeå University to participate in a summer course on Space Science and Technology. Anna has also obtained additional certifications, including an Optical Engineering Specialization from the University of Colorado Boulder in September 2021, Managing the Company of the Future from Coursera in June 2020, and CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) from the Project Management Institute in March 2018.
