Jake Turner CEH

Jake Turner CEH has worked in the cyber security field since 2009. Jake began their career as a System Support Specialist at The Energy Authority, where they provided product technical support to members and counter-parties. In 2012, they moved to Jacksonville Aviation Authority as a System Administrator, where they built and maintained Orion Network Manager, managed virtual servers and desktops, and wrote security policies. In 2013, they were promoted to Security Administrator at the same company. In 2015, they moved to Enhanced Resource Company, LLC as an Information Security Analyst. Jake then moved to Safariland as a Senior IT Security Engineer in 2016, followed by a Senior Security Engineer role at Swisher International, Inc. in 2018. In 2019, they joined MotionPoint as a Security Engineer, where they deployed and configured Rapid7 Insight IDR SIEM solution, managed Office 365 and Salesforce Security, and handled incident response to threats. In 2021, they were promoted to Senior Security Engineer at SEVENROOMS, and in 2022 they took on the role of Head of Cyber Security at Azimuth GRC.

Jake Turner CEH has a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from ITT Technical Institute-Jacksonville, which they obtained between 2010 and 2013. Prior to this, they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Computer Networking from ITT Technical Institute-Jacksonville between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, they hold certifications from various institutions, such as VM Ware, CompTIA, Exin, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. These certifications include VCA-DCV (2013), CompTIA Security+ (2013), ITIL v3 Foundations (2013), CompTIA A+ (2010), Certified Ethical Hacker (2013), and Level 3 CJIS Security & Awareness (2015).
