Alex Schiroky

Alex Schiroky has an extensive work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Alex currently holds the position of Director of Infrastructure Engineering at Azion since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Professor at Unisinos starting from August 2011.

From October 2014 to January 2021, Alex worked at Compasso / Grupo UOL Diveo, where they held the role of Head Azure Cloud Services / Deputy Director. Alex was responsible for leading initiatives in management, delivery, and business development in specialized services for digital transformation.

Before joining Compasso, they worked at Accenture as a Manager from May 2011 to October 2014. Alex also served as a Professor at ESADE Laureate International Universities from March 2012 to 2013, and at PUCRS from May 2011 to April 2012. Additionally, Alex worked as a Professor at Universidade Metodista from March 2009 to December 2011, and at Faculdades FTEC from August 2007 to December 2010.

Alex gained early experience as a Senior Software Architect at Compasso from January 2007 to April 2011, where they served as a project team technical leader and engagement manager. Alex also worked as an IT Consultant at Sicredi from January 2007 to 2010.

Alex Schiroky obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Analysis from Universidade Católica de Pelotas in 1998. From 1989 to 1993, they attended Escola Técnica Federal de Pelotas - ETFPel and earned a Professional degree in Telecommunications. They further pursued their education at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from 1999 to 2001. In 2017, Alex attended Faculdade Venda Nova do Imigrante - FAVENI and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management, which lasted until 2019. They then enrolled at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, earning an MBA in Leadership, Innovation, and Management 3.0 from 2019 to 2021. Alex Schiroky also holds additional certifications such as Azion Code of Conduct and Ethics, Member of Project Management Institute, Senior Technology Architect from Accenture MTA Program, and Technology Architect from Accenture MTA Program.
