Darren Brockway

Darren "Brock" Brockway, LCC, has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as the Chief of Police for Azle Independent School District since July 2019. Prior to this role, Darren served as a Police Lieutenant with the City of The Colony Police Department from April 1992 to July 2019, where responsibilities included commanding the criminal investigations division and acting as a departmental liaison for various governmental agencies. Earlier in Darren's career, experience included working as a Police Officer at Austin ISD Police Department from September 1990 to April 1992, where initial assignments included patrol and later transitioned to a detective role. Darren holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Midwestern State University and has completed the Leadership Command College at the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas.
