Patrick Towa

Patrick Towa is an experienced research professional specializing in cryptography. Currently serving as the Research Team Lead at Aztec since August 2022, Towa manages a research team and develops a research roadmap in alignment with business needs. Previous roles include a postdoctoral researcher in the Applied Cryptography Group at ETH Zürich, where Towa also acted as a scientific advisor for Crypto Quantique within the Eurostars ZERO-TOUCH Project. At IBM, Towa contributed as a predoctoral researcher focusing on privacy-preserving cryptographic protocols. Towa holds a PhD in Cryptography from Ecole normale supérieure, alongside a Master's in Mathematics from ETH Zürich and a Master's in Engineering from CentraleSupélec.
