Aleksandr Lovkov has a diverse work experience in software development. Aleksandr started their career at Yandex.Money in 2015, where they worked as a Java developer, focusing on developing business transaction mechanisms. Aleksandr then joined OK.RU in 2016 as a software developer, where they worked on high-load features using fast algorithms and data structures, primarily with Cassandra.
In 2018, Aleksandr joined Yandex as a software developer and worked on various projects until 2019. During this time, they gained experience in different areas of software development.
In 2019, Aleksandr joined SmartDec as a software developer and was responsible for developing a static analyzer for JVM languages. Aleksandr significantly improved the analysis of applications by optimizing algorithms and data structures, as well as implementing interprocedural null-pointer dereference.
From 2020 to 2022, Aleksandr worked at Huawei as a senior software engineer. Aleksandr primarily focused on developing a virtual machine for the HarmonyOS platform, specifically working on memory management and garbage collection. Aleksandr also contributed to general runtime development and integrated various features with the garbage collector.
Currently, they are working as a senior software engineer at Azul, where they continue to contribute their expertise in software development.
Aleksandr Lovkov completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from ITMO University, from the year 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued studies in math and physics at ITMO University from 2005 to 2012 without obtaining a specific degree.
