Dean Vaughan

Dean Vaughan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning across various companies. Dean is currently serving as the Vice President APAC at Azul, where they focus on Open Source technologies, specifically Java. Before joining Azul in 2022, they worked at Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, where they held the role of Service Provider Business Unit Lead. Prior to that, they were with Silver Peak, serving as the Vice President APJ.

Dean also has a significant tenure at Oracle, where they held several senior director positions, overseeing different aspects of Oracle's cloud platform solutions, open cloud infrastructure, and Oracle Linux and Oracle Virtualization in the Asia Pacific and Japan region. Before joining Oracle, Dean worked as a Senior Consultant at Channel Dynamics and served as the Manager of the Channel Sales Team at Citrix Systems. Dean also held the position of Channel Director at 3Com.

Dean's career began at NCR, where they served as the Enterprise Sales Manager for the Asia Pacific region. Overall, Dean has gained extensive experience in various roles and industries throughout their career.

Dean Vaughan obtained an MBA in General Management from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, attending from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they studied at St Aloysius Collage (Allos), although the degree name and field of study are unknown.
