Selma Almeida holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from the University of Johannesburg and has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as an Economic Advisor and Planning and Performance Advisor at Azule Energy since August 2022, Selma previously worked at bp from January 2021 to July 2022 in a similar advisory role. Earlier, Selma was a Planning and Performance Analyst at an Oil & Gas Company from October 2011 to January 2021, contributing to value-based investment decisions within Field Development Plans. Other roles include HR Advisor and Lead Resourcing Advisor at BP Angola, Resourcing Advisor at another Oil & Gas Company, and a Graduate in Training at Absa Bank.
