Tanumay Mondal has a strong background in the culinary industry, with extensive experience in various roles. Tanumay is currently serving as the Head Chef at Azumi Restaurant Group, starting in June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Park Hyatt for nearly a decade, holding positions such as Executive Sous Chef, Chef De Cuisine, Sous Chef, and Chef de Partie. Tanumay also gained valuable experience at Grand Hyatt, where they worked as a Chef de Partie and Commie Chef. Tanumay began their career at Copper Chimney as a Commie II.
Tanumay Mondal began their education in 2002 at the Habra Youth Computer Training Center, where they studied information technology applications, including MS-Dos, Windows, MS Office, and Foxpro. From 2004 to 2007, they attended the University of Calcutta, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, P.sinse, and History. During the same period, they also attended the Meridian School of Hotel Management, where they obtained a Diploma in Hotel Management. Additionally, in 2004 and 2005, Mondal pursued a Diploma in Food and Beverage at City & Guilds, specializing in Food and Beverage service.
