John Wassman

John Wassman has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. John is currently a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Azure Summit Technology since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Leonarrdo DRS as a Principal Manufacturing Engineer from July 2018 to April 2020, and as a Manufacturing Engineer from July 2018 to April 2020.

Before their time at Leonarrdo DRS, John worked at Harris Corporation as a Mechanical Engineer from June 2012 to July 2018. John was involved in the development of next-generation energy solutions for the oil industry and implemented manufacturing solutions for complex space and communication products. John focused on reducing manufacturing time and improving quality using precision tooling.

John's earliest work experience was at Wilson's Machine Products, where they served as a Plant Manager from July 2004 to June 2012. John managed day-to-day operations, led a team of manufacturing personnel, and achieved AS9100 certification for the company.

John Wassman earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. John attended the university from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Materials Engineering from the same institution, studying there from 2004 to 2012.
